كَأَنَّما لَونُها وَالصُبحُ مُنقَشِعٌ
قَبلَbefore الغَزالَةِthe sun أَلوانُhues الحَماطيطِthe tiny sandworms
قَبلَ الغَزالَةِ أَلوانُ الحَماطيطِ
As though its hue, while dawn is clearing,
As though its hue when dawn begins to break
Before the sun rises, were the hues of tiny sandworms.
Were like gazelles whose spotted coats awake
