وفيهنَّand among them حُورٌdark-eyed beauties كمثلِjust like الظِّباءgazelles
وفيهنَّ حُورٌ كمثلِ الظِّباء
تَقَرَّواthey sought out بأعلىin the upper reaches of السليلِal-Salil الهَدالاthe hanging foliage
تَقَرَّوا بأعلى السليلِ الهَدالا
And among them are dark-eyed beauties, like gazelles
In Paradise are maidens like sheltered gazelles,
That sought out hanging foliage in the upper reaches of al-Salil.
who rest at the peaks of lofty tents,
جَعَلْنَthey placed قُدَيْساًQudays وأعنادَهand its surrounding lands
جَعَلْنَ قُدَيْساً وأعنادَه
يميناًon the right وبرقةَand the stony tract of رَعْمٍRaʿm شمالاon the left
يميناً وبرقةَ رَعْمٍ شمالا
They kept Qudays and its surrounding lands
their right sides, their left tents,
On their right, and Raʿm’s stony tract on their left.
