And the yellowed leaves of the boughs and their green ones

Delight your eyes in the season of autumn.

For this is gold among them, and that is chrysolite,

Burnished by flashes from the goblets of wine.

Flashes of pure wine, gleaming in the bottles:

Among the drinkers, no blaze from them is feared.

For they are a path to the abode of joy whenever

A night of cares darkens for you.

Aged wine: whoever spends the night plying its cup—

Then he is freed from long-lasting care.
