عَلَيكَupon You اِتِّكاليmy reliance إِلَهَO God الوَرىcreation
عَلَيكَ اِتِّكالي إِلَهَ الوَرى
وَتَفويضُand the entrusting of كُلِّall أُموريmy affairs إِلَيكَto You
وَتَفويضُ كُلِّ أُموري إِلَيكَ
Upon You I rely, O God of creation,
On you I rely, God of the worlds
and to You I entrust all my affairs.
And entrust to you all my affairs
وَغَيرُand not خَفِيٍّhidden بِأَنَّthat الوُجودَexistence
وَغَيرُ خَفِيٍّ بِأَنَّ الوُجودَ
وَأَهلَand the inhabitants of الوُجودِexistence عَطاياgifts of يَدَيكَYour two hands
وَأَهلَ الوُجودِ عَطايا يَدَيكَ
And it is no secret that existence
It's no secret that existence
and those who inhabit it are gifts of Your hands.
And the people of existence are gifts of your hands
لِذَلِكَtherefore لَمdid not يَبقَremain فِيَّwithin me اِختِياراًa choice
لِذَلِكَ لَم يَبقَ فِيَّ اِختِياراً
لِنَفسيfor myself اِتَّكاليmy reliance عَلَيكَupon You
لِنَفسي اِتَّكالي عَلَيكَ
Thus it no longer remains within me as a choice
Therefore, I have no choice left
of my own—my reliance upon You.
