يَأتي الرِسولُ إِلى البَعيدِ مِنَ ال

يَأتي الرِسولُ إِلى البَعيدِ مِنَ ال

بَعيدِ مُخَبِّرا

بَعيدِ مُخَبِّرا

The messenger comes to the distant one from the

The messenger comes to the one far, far away

distant one, bringing news.

Informing, while I see you closer than any messenger in my heart

وَأَراكَ أَدنى مِن رِسو

وَأَراكَ أَدنى مِن رِسو

لِكَ في الفُؤادِ وَأَظهَرا

لِكَ في الفُؤادِ وَأَظهَرا

And I see you nearer than your messen-

What you expressed to me and to others from him

ger in the heart, and more manifest.

I was expressing, while from you it remained unexpressed

ما عَنكَ عَبَّرَ لي وَلَكِ

ما عَنكَ عَبَّرَ لي وَلَكِ

ن عَنهُ كُنتُ مُعَبِّرا

ن عَنهُ كُنتُ مُعَبِّرا

He did not speak to me of you, bu-

So you made him known, when he appeared

t I was speaking of him.

As a light, giving light near you

فَعَرَّفتَهُ بِكَ إِذ بَدا

فَعَرَّفتَهُ بِكَ إِذ بَدا

نوراً لَدَيكَ مُنَوِّرا

نوراً لَدَيكَ مُنَوِّرا

So I made him known through you when he appeared

And by his light you made me known

as a light, shining in your presence.

From whence you originated existence

وَبِنورِهِ عَرَفتَني

وَبِنورِهِ عَرَفتَني

مِن أَينَ أَنشَأتَ الوَرى

مِن أَينَ أَنشَأتَ الوَرى

And by his light you recognized me.

From where did you bring all beings into existence?
