لَم تَبدُ لي مَن بِها وَجدي وَبِلِوائي

لَم تَبدُ لي مَن بِها وَجدي وَبِلِوائي

بِغَيرِ نَعتي وَأَوصافي وَأَسمائي

بِغَيرِ نَعتي وَأَوصافي وَأَسمائي

She in whom lie my longing and affliction has not appeared to me

You have not appeared to me except with my passion and my affliction,

Except in my description, my attributes, and my names.

With nothing but my attributes, descriptions, and names.

صَفاؤُها في تَجَلّيها يُقابِلُ را

صَفاؤُها في تَجَلّيها يُقابِلُ را

ئيها فَتَظهَرُ فيها صورَةُ الرائي

ئيها فَتَظهَرُ فيها صورَةُ الرائي

Her clarity, in her manifestation, faces her behold-

Its purity in its manifestation corresponds to my sight,

er, so the beholder’s image appears within her.

So the image of the seer appears within it.
