تَبَصَّر بِنورِ الحَقِّ تَلقَ حَقيقَةً

تَبَصَّر بِنورِ الحَقِّ تَلقَ حَقيقَةً

بِعَينِ يَقينِ لا يُدافِعُها الظَنُّ

بِعَينِ يَقينِ لا يُدافِعُها الظَنُّ

See with insight by the light of Truth, and you will find a reality

With truth's light you have gained insight and grasped reality

With the eye of certainty, unchallenged by conjecture.

With the eye of certainty, not to be disputed by conjecture

وَلا تَرضَ بِالتَقليدِ تَغدُ مُخَلَّداً

وَلا تَرضَ بِالتَقليدِ تَغدُ مُخَلَّداً

بِحُزنِ ضَلالٍ لا يُفارِقُهُ الحُزنُ

بِحُزنِ ضَلالٍ لا يُفارِقُهُ الحُزنُ

And do not be content with imitation, lest you be consigned forever

Be not content in imitation, else you persist deluded

To the sorrow of error, with sorrow never leaving you.

In the sadness of misguidance, from which sadness will not part
