تعالَت ذاتُ مَولايَ

تعالَت ذاتُ مَولايَ

عَن الإِدراكِ بِاللَحظِ

عَن الإِدراكِ بِاللَحظِ

My Lord's essence is exalted

My Master's essence is too lofty

Beyond perception by the gaze,

To be grasped in a glance,

وَعَن تَضمينِ مَعنى الحُسنِ

وَعَن تَضمينِ مَعنى الحُسنِ

مِنها صورَةُ اللَفظِ

مِنها صورَةُ اللَفظِ

And beyond capturing the meaning of beauty

Or for the meaning of His beauty

From it in the form of words.

To be contained in words.
