إِذا عَصَمَ التَمَسُّكُ مِن ظَلالٍ

إِذا عَصَمَ التَمَسُّكُ مِن ظَلالٍ

بِأَهلِ البَيتِ أَخيارَ النَبِيِّ

بِأَهلِ البَيتِ أَخيارَ النَبِيِّ

If protection from shadows comes through holding fast

When holding fast to the Family of the House saves from shadows

to the People of the House, the Prophet’s chosen ones,

The best of the Prophet's family, his Ahl al-Bayt progeny

فَما والاهُمُ إِلّا رَشيدٌ

فَما والاهُمُ إِلّا رَشيدٌ

وَلا عاداهُمُ غَيرُ الغَوِيِّ

وَلا عاداهُمُ غَيرُ الغَوِيِّ

then none is loyal to them but one rightly guided,

None would befriend them but the rightly guided

and none is hostile to them but one astray.

None would oppose them but the misguided
