حَتّامَ بِالأَعراضِ عَن جَورهَ
ريcontinuation of 'my essence' القُدسِيِّsacred بِالحَسِيِّthrough the sensory إِعراضيmy turning away
ري القُدسِيِّ بِالحَسِيِّ إِعراضي
How long, through accidental qualities, shall I turn away from my
Hattam turns away from his tyranny
sacred essence through the sensory?
As my soul turns away from what is mortal
وَكُلُّand every مُستَقبَلِfuture أَمرٍaffair بِهِthrough it
وَكُلُّ مُستَقبَلِ أَمرٍ بِهِ
بِحالِهِin its own state يَدخُلُenters فيinto الماضيthe past
بِحالِهِ يَدخُلُ في الماضي
And every future affair, through it,
And whatever future matters come about
enters the past just as it is.
