كَسَرتُ بِالوَقتِ سَيفي

فَصارَ لِيَ الوَقتُ سَيفا

فَصارَ لِيَ الوَقتُ سَيفا

I broke my sword against time;

so time became a sword for me.

بِهِ وَلِيُّ زَماني

بِهِ وَلِيُّ زَماني

عَنّي يَذودُ الحَيفا

عَنّي يَذودُ الحَيفا

With it, the guardian of my age

wards injustice away from me.
