1. المَطلُ وِالوَنمعدِ أَذىً

    يُبطِلُ حَقَّ الصِدَقَه

    يِزيلُ فَضلَ النَفَقَه

    And a spender—his extravagance

    erases the merit of his spending.

  3. وَمُدَّعي العِلمِ بِغَيرِ عَمَلٍ

    ما أَحمَقَه

    And one who claims knowledge without action—

    how foolish he is!
