بِكَwith you وَصليmy union عَمَّنfrom whoever سِواكَother than you اِنقِطاعيmy severance
بِكَ وَصلي عَمَّن سِواكَ اِنقِطاعي
وَبِسَتريand by my concealing هَواكَlove for you كَشفُunveiling قَناعَتيmy contentment
وَبِسَتري هَواكَ كَشفُ قَناعَتي
My union with you is my severance from all but you.
And in concealing my love for you lies the unveiling of my contentment.
وَمُغيبيand my absence بيthrough myself عَنكَfrom you عَينُthe very essence of اِحتِجابيmy being veiled
وَمُغيبي بي عَنكَ عَينُ اِحتِجابي
عَنfrom وُجوديmy existence وَفيكَand in you عَينُthe very essence of اِطِّلاعيmy insight
عَن وُجودي وَفيكَ عَينُ اِطِّلاعي
And my absence from you through myself is my very veiling
From my own existence; and in you lies my very insight.
فَلِهَذاso for this reason لَمdid not يَنثَنيturn away عَنكَfrom you ثانٍanother
فَلِهَذا لَم يَنثَني عَنكَ ثانٍ
مُنذُsince لَبّىanswered لُبّيmy inmost heart إِلَيكَto you الداعيthe summoner
مُنذُ لَبّى لُبّي إِلَيكَ الداعي
For this reason, no other has turned away from you
Since my inmost heart answered the one summoning it to you.
