مَدارُ الحَقِّ مَركَزُهُ

مَدارُ الحَقِّ مَركَزُهُ

وَأَوسَطُهُ وَحَيَّزُه

وَأَوسَطُهُ وَحَيَّزُه

The pivot of the Real is its center,

The orbit of the Real is His center,

its midpoint and its locus.

and His midpoint and His domain.

وَما في الكَونِ مِن كَونٍ

وَما في الكَونِ مِن كَونٍ

بِهِ وَلَهُ وَمُعجِزُه

بِهِ وَلَهُ وَمُعجِزُه

Whatever being there is in the cosmos

And whatever being there is in the cosmos

is through Him and for Him, and He renders it powerless.

لِأَنَّ الخَلقَ عَن خُلُقٍ

لِأَنَّ الخَلقَ عَن خُلُقٍ

لِأَمرٍ جَلَّ مُبرِزُه

لِأَمرٍ جَلَّ مُبرِزُه

For creation proceeds from a nature

For creation springs from a disposition,

belonging to a Command—exalted is the One who brings it forth.

for a purpose—exalted is its bringer-forth.

وَأَنَّ الاِسمَ مِن عِزٍّ

وَأَنَّ الاِسمَ مِن عِزٍّ

بِهِ يُدعى مُعَزِّزُه

بِهِ يُدعى مُعَزِّزُه

And the Name derives from glory;

And because the name derives from glory,

by it, the One who confers its glory is named.

by which its exalter is called.

وَعَنهُ تَمَّ ما تَمَّ

وَعَنهُ تَمَّ ما تَمَّ

بِخَلقٍ لَيسَ يَعجِزُه

بِخَلقٍ لَيسَ يَعجِزُه

From Him, whatever came to completion was completed

And from Him was completed whatever was completed,

through an act of creation that does not lie beyond His power.

through creation that does not overpower Him.

وَكانَ العالَمُ الثاني

وَكانَ العالَمُ الثاني

بِأَوصافٍ يُمَيِّزُه

بِأَوصافٍ يُمَيِّزُه

And the second world came into being—

And the second world was

He distinguishes it by attributes.

distinguishing Him through attributes.
