إِذا كانَ شَرعَ اللَهِ في الدينِ واحِداً

إِذا كانَ شَرعَ اللَهِ في الدينِ واحِداً

وَعَن مَسلَكِ التَفريقِ فيهِ نَهى الرُسُل

وَعَن مَسلَكِ التَفريقِ فيهِ نَهى الرُسُل

If God's law in religion is one,

If God's law in religion is one

and the messengers forbade the path of division within it,

And the messengers forbid divergence in its path

فَإِنَّ سَبيلَ الرُشدِ لِلناسِ واحِدٌ

فَإِنَّ سَبيلَ الرُشدِ لِلناسِ واحِدٌ

وَلا غَيَّ إِلّا في مُتابَعَةِ السُبُل

وَلا غَيَّ إِلّا في مُتابَعَةِ السُبُل

then indeed the path of right guidance for people is one,

Then verily the path of righteousness for people is one

and there is no error except in following the paths.

And there is no misguidance except in following different paths
