إِن كُنتَ تَأنَسُ بِالحَبيبِ وَقُربِهِ

إِن كُنتَ تَأنَسُ بِالحَبيبِ وَقُربِهِ

فَاصبِر عَلى حُكمِ الرَقيبِ وَدارِهِ

فَاصبِر عَلى حُكمِ الرَقيبِ وَدارِهِ

If you find comfort in the beloved and his nearness,

If you find comfort in the beloved and his nearness

then patiently bear the watcher's rule and humor him.

Then be patient with the ruling of the watcher and his abode

إِنَّ الرَقيبَ إِذا صَبَرتَ لِحُكمِهِ

إِنَّ الرَقيبَ إِذا صَبَرتَ لِحُكمِهِ

بَواكَ في مَثوى الحَبيبِ وَدارِهِ

بَواكَ في مَثوى الحَبيبِ وَدارِهِ

Indeed, the watcher, if you patiently bear his rule,

Verily the watcher, if you are patient with his ruling

will lodge you in the beloved's abode and home.

Will cry for you in the dwelling place of the beloved and his abode
