غَزِلٌ في قصافَةِ القُضبانِ

I have a companion, gallant of heart, Yemeni;

I have a boon companion, courageous and true,

Amorous, with the delicate slenderness of boughs.

لا يُغنّي في العَظمِ إِلّا إِذا أَص
