عَنfor أَنto يَليundertake خِدمَةَthe service أَربابِهِhis masters
And a young gazelle—I have come to deem him too noble

ياO عَجَبيmy wonder مِنat سِحرِthe magic أَلحاظِهِhis glances
وَسِحرِand the magic أَلحاظٍglances فُتِنّاwe were bewitched بِهِby it
Oh, how I marvel at the magic of his glances,
How wondrous is the magic of his glances
and the magic of glances by which we were bewitched!
And the magic of eyes we're enchanted by
هَلcan...? يَخدِمُserve الناسَpeople مَنِone whose اِستَخدَمَتhave pressed into service
