يُصابُ الفَتى في أَهلِهِ بِرَزِيَّةٍ
وَماand what بَعدَهاcomes after it مِنهاthan it أَهمّmore momentous وَأَعظَمُand greater
وَما بَعدَها مِنها أَهمّ وَأَعظَمُ
A young man is afflicted with a calamity in his family,
The youth is afflicted among his own with misfortune,
and what follows it is weightier and greater than it.
And nothing thereafter is more important and greater,
فَإِنso if يَصطَبِرhe patiently endures فيهاin it فَأَجرٌthen a reward مُوَفّرٌabundant
فَإِن يَصطَبِر فيها فَأَجرٌ مُوَفّرٌ
وَإِنand if يَكُhe is مِجزاعاًexcessively impatient فَوزرٌthen a burden of sin مُقدَّمُsent ahead
وَإِن يَكُ مِجزاعاً فَوزرٌ مُقدَّمُ
So if he endures it patiently, there is abundant reward;
So if he is patient therein, his ample reward awaits,
and if he is excessively impatient, a burden of sin is sent ahead.
But if impatient, his burden is brought forward.
