And I have a coat of mail; no beholder’s eye has seen
A scattering is she of all the eyes of seers have sighted,
its equal in workmanship or in the linking of its rings.
With never structure wrought or tales rehearsed in order vowed.

Its rings are tightly interlocked, as though they were
So smoothly linked the jointures of her tale, you would suppose
the eyes of locust nymphs on the earth as they strip it bare.
The very eyes of the wild beasts were pruning her as she bowed.
