حسدَ القصرُ فيكمُ الزَهراءَ

حسدَ القصرُ فيكمُ الزَهراءَ

ولعمري وَعمرُكُم ما أَساءَ

The palace envied al-Zahra for having you;

The palace envied among you Al-Zahra

And by my life and yours, it did no wrong.

قَد طلعتُم بِها شُموساَ صَباحاً

قَد طلعتُم بِها شُموساَ صَباحاً

فاِطلَعوا عِندَنا بُدورا مَساءَ

فاِطلَعوا عِندَنا بُدورا مَساءَ

Indeed, you rose there as suns in the morning;

You rose with it as morning suns

So rise with us as full moons in the evening.

So rise among us as full moons at night
