O Abu Hashim, the blades have worn me down.
O Abu Hashim, sharp tongues have hurt me,
So to God belongs my endurance of that burning heat.
Yet by God I have patience for their harm.

I remembered your little figure among them;
I think of your character among them,
so love for him did not let me flee.
Your love won't let me flee or feel alarm.
