لَقَلبي لِبُعدك عَنّي عَليلُ

لَقَلبي لِبُعدك عَنّي عَليلُ

فَشَوقي صَحيحٌ وَجِسمي عَليلُ

فَشَوقي صَحيحٌ وَجِسمي عَليلُ

Indeed, my heart is ailing because you are far from me.

My heart is sick for your absence from me

For my longing is sound, and my body is ailing.

My longing is healthy yet my body is sick

وَوُدّي عَلى حسب ما تَعلَمينَ

وَوُدّي عَلى حسب ما تَعلَمينَ

تَزولُ الجِبالُ وَما إِن يَزولُ

تَزولُ الجِبالُ وَما إِن يَزولُ

And my love is just as you know:

And my love is as much as you know

Mountains vanish, but it never does.

Mountains may pass away but it will not pass away

فَلا تَستَحيلي لِبُعد الديار

فَلا تَستَحيلي لِبُعد الديار

فَإِنّي مَعَ البُعد لا أَستَحيلُ

فَإِنّي مَعَ البُعد لا أَستَحيلُ

So do not change because our homes are far apart,

So do not become difficult due to the distance of the homes

For, despite the distance, I do not change.

For I, despite the distance, will not become difficult
