أَخلَفتَني وَعدَكَ لي

أَخلَفتَني وَعدَكَ لي

وَمُخِلفاً أَعهَدُكَ

وَمُخِلفاً أَعهَدُكَ

You broke your promise to me,

and I know you as a breaker of promises.

فَعِد بِأن تَهجُرَني

فَعِد بِأن تَهجُرَني

وَاِجرِ عَلى عادِتِكَ

وَاِجرِ عَلى عادِتِكَ

So promise to forsake me,

and follow your usual habit.
