Every exile has fulfilled his longing for his kin,
Each emigrant bid farewell to his family

سِوايَexcept me فَإِنّيfor indeed I am رَهنُcaptive to أَدهَمَa black iron fetter مُبهِمٍbarring

Except me: I am captive to a black fetter that bars
Except for me, for I am enthralled by an enigmatic darkness
my path to deliverance and grips me with torments.
