A shield whose makers imitated the sky,
A sword whose makers tempered steel with the sky,
So that long spears would fall short of it.
to outreach all spears however tall.
وَصاغواand they fashioned مِثالَthe likeness of الثُرَيّاthe Pleiades عَلَيهِupon it

And upon it they fashioned the likeness of the Pleiades:
Upon its hilt, the figure of a noble star,
Stars that decree success for it.
like planets granting it success overall.

And they have ringed it with pure molten gold,
Encrusted with the sheen of early dawn,
As the horizon donned the robe of morning.
as skylines don the raiment of daybreak.
