يا مُجابا دَعا إِلى مُستَجِيبِ

يا مُجابا دَعا إِلى مُستَجِيبِ

فَسَمِعنا دُعاءَه مِن قَريبِ

فَسَمِعنا دُعاءَه مِن قَريبِ

O you whose call is answered, who called to one ready to respond,

Oh Responder to prayer, your call reached one who answers,

so we heard his call from nearby.

We heard your prayer from nearby,

إِن فَعَلتُ الَّذي دَعَوتَ إِلَيهِ

إِن فَعَلتُ الَّذي دَعَوتَ إِلَيهِ

كُنتَ فيما رغبتَ عينُ رَغِيبِ

كُنتَ فيما رغبتَ عينُ رَغِيبِ

If I do what you invited me to,

If I do what you called me to,

you would be, in what you desired, the very one desired.

You would have what you wish, the apple of your eye.
