أَسرارُsecrets نَفسِكَof your soul فيin البِلادِthe lands كَأَنَّهاas though they were
أَسرارُ نَفسِكَ في البِلادِ كَأَنَّها
أَسرارُlines وَجهِكَof your face ماnot عَلَيهِupon it لِثامُa veil
أَسرارُ وَجهِكَ ما عَلَيهِ لِثامُ
Your soul’s secrets, throughout the lands, are like
The secrets of your soul in the land as though they
the lines of your face, with no veil covering it.
Were the secrets of your face, with no veil over them.
وَظُهورُand the showing تِلكَof those أَباحَهُHe permitted it لَكَto you رَبُّهاtheir Lord
وَظُهورُ تِلكَ أَباحَهُ لَكَ رَبُّها
وَظُهورُand the revealing هَذيof these هَتكَةٌa disgrace وَأَثامُand sin
وَظُهورُ هَذي هَتكَةٌ وَأَثامُ
And their Lord has permitted you to show those,
And the revealing of those, their Lord has permitted to you,
but revealing these is a disgrace and a sin.
While the revealing of this would be shameful misdeeds.
