فَأَيُّso what مُرادٍaim فيin الحَياةِlife نَسومُwe seek
We roam once upon the face of the earth;
We roam across the wilderness once
What aim, then, do we seek in life?
Then what purpose in life do we roam?

An event separates the body from the soul;
An event separates between soul and being
Behold, the days of parting are indeed ruinous.
Alas, the days of parting are predestined

A journey to the world above is planned
Souls aspire a journey to the spiritual world
By souls, while bodies remain in the dust.
While corpses remain in the soil

And they have never departed without Time's onslaught
It wailed not but for the vicissitudes of fate
And marks appearing upon their abodes.
Its homes and markings evident

Ruins, dwellings, and a community will grow desolate;
Ruins, lands and kin will become desolate
The traces of this and that are effaced.
From here and there, customs fade away
