حَقيقَةُ ماقالوا العُدولُ عَنِ الحَقِّ
They say the city has 'upright men,' yet
They say in Egypt the judges are just, but truly
the true meaning of their words is turning away from what is right.
What the judges say is far from the truth
وَلَستُand I am not بِمُختارٍchoosing لِقَوميfor my people كَونَهُمtheir being

And I would not choose for my people to be
And I'm not one who chooses for my people their being
judges, nor to set testimony down on parchment.
Judges, nor placing testimony on a parchment
