They called to one another as they departed, on the morning they said:
They called out in yearning one morning, and said:
“A shower of rain has struck the land.”
“The land has been blessed with abundant rain.”

Perhaps some watchers of lightning who saw a flash
Perhaps flashes of lightning may give hope,
will perish, though they have no share in it.
But fade away having no share therein.

And souls sometimes survive in a barren land,
And souls may survive in barren lands,
while a fertile abode destroys its people.
While prosperity destroys its people.
