وَما لِقيَتهُمُ إِلّا بِغَولِ
The peoples saw their world as a bride,
The people saw their world as a bride,
yet it met them with nothing but ruin.
Yet she did not meet them except with betrayal.
مَتّىwhen أَناI راحِلٌdeparting عَنهاfrom it لِشَأنيfor my own affairs
مَتّى أَنا راحِلٌ عَنها لِشَأني
فَإِنّيfor indeed I قَدalready قَضَيتُI completed بِهاin it شُغوليmy business
فَإِنّي قَد قَضَيتُ بِها شُغولي
When shall I leave it to attend to my own affairs?
When I depart from it for my own affairs,
For I have already finished my business in it.
For I have already finished my duties with it.
