كَالقَرمِlike a stud camel سُدِّمَwas denied mating فَهوَso it is الهادِرُthe roaring one الراغيthe bellowing one
كَالقَرمِ سُدِّمَ فَهوَ الهادِرُ الراغي
May a morning raincloud, its water all blessings, water your dwellings,
The generous rain has watered your home, excellent indeed
Like a stud camel denied mating, it roars and bellows.
Like a pot it boiled over, overflowing abundantly
وَليُفرِغِand may he pour السَعدَgood fortune فيهاinto them قادِرٌall-powerful صَمَدٌself-sufficient
وَليُفرِغِ السَعدَ فيها قادِرٌ صَمَدٌ
فَلَستُfor I am not أَقنَعُcontent مِنfrom دَجنٍclouds بِإِفراغِwith an outpouring
فَلَستُ أَقنَعُ مِن دَجنٍ بِإِفراغِ
And may the Almighty, the Self-Sufficient, pour good fortune into them,
And perfectly able to pour happiness into it is the Eternal
For I am not content with an outpouring from clouds.
So I will not be satisfied with less than a full pouring
