If you say that gray hair's dyeing is God's work,
When you say that gray hair is dyed by God
then one who dyes gray hair has plainly gone astray.
You are quite mistaken, for gray hair has no dyer

Gray hairs sprouting at a temple heed no dyer;
The bright stars of Fawd care not if their light dims
Jirwal and the Nabighas took fright at them.
While the dimmest of stars shudder at their shining light
