Like your vessel is the body, which is a form
for you in life—so beware of being deceived.
لاno فَضلَmerit لِلقَدَحِfor the cup الَّذيwhich اِستَودَعتَهُyou entrusted it with
ضَرَباًthick white honey وَلَكِنand yet فَضلُهُits merit لِلمودَعِfor what is deposited within
No merit belongs to the cup you have entrusted with
thick white honey; rather, its merit belongs to what it holds.
