كادَتnearly تَساوىbecome equal نُفوسُthe souls الناسِof people كُلِّهِمُall of them
كادَت تَساوى نُفوسُ الناسِ كُلِّهِمُ
فيin الشَرِّevil ماwhat lies بَينَbetween مَنبوزٍone called names وَنَبّازِand a name-caller
في الشَرِّ ما بَينَ مَنبوزٍ وَنَبّازِ
The souls of all people have nearly become equal
In evil, from the reviled to the reviler.
ظُلمُthe wrongdoing of الحَمامَةِفيthe dove in الدُنياthis world وَإِنeven though حُسِبَتshe is counted
ظُلمُ الحَمامَةِفي الدُنيا وَإِن حُسِبَت
فيamong الصالِحاتِthe righteous كَظُلمِlike the wrongdoing of الصَقرِthe falcon وَالبازِand the goshawk
في الصالِحاتِ كَظُلمِ الصَقرِ وَالبازِ
The dove's wrongdoing in this world, though she is counted
Among the righteous, is like the falcon's and the goshawk's.
