لِزَوجِto a husband إِنّيindeed I إِلىto الحَمّامِthe bathhouse أَحتاجُI need
I seek refuge in God from a foolish woman saying
to her husband, “I need to visit the bathhouse.”
وَهَمُّهاand her concern فيwith أُمورٍmatters لَوif يُتابِعُهاhe goes along with her
كِسرىKisra عَلَيهاin them لِشينَwould be disgraced المُلكُkingship وَالتاجُand the crown
And her mind is on matters—were she followed
by Kisra in them, kingship and crown would be disgraced.
