غَدَت دارَ الشُرورِ وَنَحنُ فيها

غَدَت دارَ الشُرورِ وَنَحنُ فيها

فَمَن يَهدي إِلى دارِ السُرورِ

فَمَن يَهدي إِلى دارِ السُرورِ

It has become the abode of evils, and we are in it.

So who will guide us to the abode of joy?

لَقَد بُدِّلتُ حالاً بَعدَ حالٍ

لَقَد بُدِّلتُ حالاً بَعدَ حالٍ

فَصِرتُ إِلى الغُرورِ مِنَ الغُرورِ

فَصِرتُ إِلى الغُرورِ مِنَ الغُرورِ

Indeed, I have been changed from state to state.

So I have passed from delusion into delusion.

فَصَبراً إِن أَمَرَّ عَلَيكَ عَيشٌ

فَصَبراً إِن أَمَرَّ عَلَيكَ عَيشٌ

فَإِنَّكَ في المَقامِ عَلى المُرورِ

فَإِنَّكَ في المَقامِ عَلى المُرورِ

So be patient if life turns bitter for you,

For even as you dwell, you are passing through.
