    How mighty God is, that His creatures may be summoned

    from their dust, and return as they once were!

    And vicissitudes lay people in the belly of the earth:

    Lowering and raising, setting in motion and bringing to rest.

    If Radwa and Quds are not everlasting,

    then can the pillars of this body endure?

    How beautiful the earth would be, were it free of harm,

    with us dwelling upon it to remember God!

    وَلَيسَ مِنّا لِدَفعِ الشَرِّ إِمكانُ

    Resurrection may be possible, if the Sovereign calls for it;

    yet we have no power to ward off evil.
