If, through excessive foolishness, you are a denier of God,
If you persist in extreme foolishness
then, O denier, bear witness that I am no denier.
Then O denier, witness that I am no denier

I fear punishment from God in time to come,
I fear the punishment of Allah in due time
and I maintain that all affairs are in the hand of One.
And I believe all matters are in the hands of the One
فَإِنّيfor I رَأَيتُhave seen المُلحِدينَthe unbelievers تَعودُهُمvisits them
فَإِنّي رَأَيتُ المُلحِدينَ تَعودُهُم

نَدامَتُهُم عِندَ الأَكُفِّ اللَواحِدِ
For I have seen unbelievers visited
For I have seen the atheists who become habituated
by their remorse in the presence of grave-digging hands.
To regret at the striking of the final hour
