لِلَّهِto God لِطفٌkindness خَفيٌّhidden فيin بَريَّتِهِHis creation
لِلَّهِ لِطفٌ خَفيٌّ في بَريَّتِهِ
أَعياeluded دَواءٌa cure المَناياdeaths كُلَّevery نِطَّيسِskilled physician
أَعيا دَواءٌ المَنايا كُلَّ نِطَّيسِ
God has a hidden kindness within His creation.
God has a subtle kindness in His creation
A cure for death has eluded every skilled physician.
that remedies all afflictions however intense.
ماwhat بالُthe state of أَشباحِbodies قومٍa people فيin الثَرىthe earth جُعِلَتwere placed
ما بالُ أَشباحِ قومٍ في الثَرى جُعِلَت
لَمdid not تُبقِleave إِلّاexcept حَديثاًa tale فيin القَراطيسِsheets of paper
لَم تُبقِ إِلّا حَديثاً في القَراطيسِ
What of the bodies of a people laid in the earth,
Why were the ghosts of a people placed in the ground -
which left nothing but a tale on sheets of paper?
leaving only tales written on scrolls?
