للَه تبت بما في الدين ألزمني

للَه تبت بما في الدين ألزمني

أداؤه وعليه اللَه أندبني

أداؤه وعليه اللَه أندبني

To God I have turned in repentance, undertaking what I am bound in religion

To perform, and what God has urged me to do.

والنفس ألزمتها مني السؤال لما

والنفس ألزمتها مني السؤال لما

عنه السؤالات من فرض ومن سنن

عنه السؤالات من فرض ومن سنن

And I myself have bound my soul to inquire into

Whatever is asked about, whether obligations or recommended practices.

وتبت للَه من قول ومن عمل

وتبت للَه من قول ومن عمل

ونية واعتقادات على دخن

ونية واعتقادات على دخن

And I have repented to God of speech and deed,

And intention and beliefs tainted with impurity.

وقد توليت ربي والملائك بل

وقد توليت ربي والملائك بل

والأنبيا وموالي المصطفى المدني

والأنبيا وموالي المصطفى المدني

And I have given allegiance to my Lord and the angels—indeed,

And to the prophets and the followers of the Chosen One of Medina.

وقد برئت من الأعداء كلهم

وقد برئت من الأعداء كلهم

للَه أو من يعاصيه ولم يدن

للَه أو من يعاصيه ولم يدن

And I have dissociated myself from all the enemies

Of God, or whoever disobeys Him and has not submitted.
