وياand O سائليyou who ask me عنabout عالمthe world of الخلقcreation كلهاall of it
ويا سائلي عن عالم الخلق كلها
فحسبكso sufficient for you ماwhat قالواthey said ثلاثةthree أَصنافkinds
فحسبك ما قالوا ثلاثة أَصناف
And O you who ask me about the world of all creation,
O questioner about the whole world of creation,
So let what they have said suffice you: three kinds.
Suffice it for you what the three kinds have said:
همthey الثقلانhumankind and jinn والملائكand the angels كلهاall of them
هم الثقلان والملائك كلها
ثلاثةthree أَصنافkinds همthey العالمthe world الصافthe pure
ثلاثة أَصناف هم العالم الصاف
They are humankind and jinn, and all the angels.
They are the two heavy ones and all the angels,
Three kinds—they are the pure world.
Three kinds they are, the clear world.
وماand what خلقcreated الباريthe Creator فليسso is not بعالمa world
وما خلق الباري فليس بعالم
سواهمother than them يسمىis called بينamong نعتdescription وأَوصافand attributes
سواهم يسمى بين نعت وأَوصاف
And nothing the Creator created is a world
And what the Creator created is no world
Other than them, so called in descriptions and attributes.
Other than them, called between description and attributes.
