قدhas كتبwritten الدهرtime علىon خدهhis cheek
قد كتب الدهر على خده
بالشعرin hair هذاthis آخرthe end الباطلِvanity
بالشعر هذا آخر الباطلِ
Time has written on his cheek
Fate has written on his cheek
in hair: "This is the end of vanity."
