فكأن الفجر لاحا

Appeared in the darkness of night,

Appearing on the wings of night

So it was as though dawn had broken.

As if the dawn were breaking

لم يكن وقت صباح

لم يكن وقت صباح

فحسبناه صباحا

فحسبناه صباحا

It was not morning time,

It was not time for morning

So we took it for morning.

Yet we mistook it for the morn
