وِراثَةُinheritance هَذيthis الأَرضِearth وَالخَلقِand creation وَالأَمرِand authority
To you, in God's Psalter, O proclaimers of the Reminder,
You who proclaim God's message have in God's book
belongs the inheritance of this earth, of creation, and of authority.
Inherited this land, all creatures, and rule.
فَلاso do not تَحسَبواsuppose مِصراًEgypt تُخَصُّis singled out بِمُلكِكُمfor your rule
فَلاfor no مِصرَcity إِلّاexcept that سَوفَwill يَلجاseek refuge إِلىin مِصرِEgypt
So do not think Egypt alone is subject to your rule;
Do not think Egypt alone you control -
for there is no city that will not seek refuge in Egypt.
No, for Egypt too shall someday answer Egypt's call.
وَإِنَّand indeed ثُغوراًfrontier towns فيin يَدَيthe two hands of غَيرِnot عامِلٍone serving
لِمِصرِكَfor your Egypt أَمسَتhave become غَيرَnot باسِمَةِsmiling الثَغرِof mouth
And indeed, frontier towns in the hands of one not serving
Foreign hands in your land nonworking -
your Egypt now have unsmiling mouths.
To your Egypt seem not like protecting the frontier.
