صاحِبُthe owner هَذاthis القَصرِthe palace كَمhow often قُبِّلَتwas kissed
صاحِبُ هَذا القَصرِ كَم قُبِّلَت
ساحَتُهُhis courtyard أَمسِyesterday وَكَمand how greatly عُظِّماhe was revered
ساحَتُهُ أَمسِ وَكَم عُظِّما
The owner of this palace—how often was
How many kisses were planted yesterday
his courtyard kissed yesterday, and how greatly he was revered!
In the courtyard of this palace and how highly it was regarded
وَقُدرَةُand the power القادِرِof the Almighty فيin هَدمِهِdemolishing it
وَقُدرَةُ القادِرِ في هَدمِهِ
أَعظَمُgreater مِنهاthan it فيin بِناءِbuilding السَماthe sky
أَعظَمُ مِنها في بِناءِ السَما
And the Almighty’s power in demolishing it
Yet the power of the Almighty in destroying it
is greater than His power in building the sky.
Is far greater than His power in constructing the heavens
