The bough is made fruitful by boughs of bān,
The branch bears fruit from the branches
And every bough greets us with a garden.
And every branch revives us with an orchard

The pomegranate blossom of both cheeks heralds what
Good tidings, the two gardens are full of pomegranates
It has nurtured in the breast: infant pomegranates.
With what it raised in the chest of pomegranate seeds

Indeed, I fear for a rose upon his cheek,
I really fear for a rose in its garden
Lest a line of basil-like down should make it fade.
Lest a basil streak scorch it
