لَئِنif indeed سَلَبتَyou robbed الفَجرَthe dawn أَنوارَهُits lights
لَئِن سَلَبتَ الفَجرَ أَنوارَهُ
وَطِرتَand you flew ماnot تُسرِجُyou saddle بِالرِياحِwith the winds
وَطِرتَ ما تُسرِجُ بِالرِياحِ
If indeed you have robbed the dawn of its lights,
If the dawn you stole its lights
and flown without harnessing the winds,
And scattered what shines with the winds
فَإِنَّهُthen indeed it ياO شَمسَناour sun كُلَّماwhenever
فَإِنَّهُ يا شَمسَنا كُلَّما
طَلَعَتyou rose لَيلاًat night قَدindeed أَتىit came بِالصَباحِwith the morning
طَلَعَت لَيلاً قَد أَتى بِالصَباحِ
then indeed, O our sun, whenever
