ماnot لَهُfor him فيin زَمانِناour time مِنany نَظيرِequal
ما لَهُ في زَمانِنا مِن نَظيرِ
قَدرُهُhis stature ماnot جَرىproceeded عَلىaccording to تَقديرِestimation
قَدرُهُ ما جَرى عَلى تَقديرِ
He has no equal in our time.
He is unmatched in our time,
His stature is beyond all measure.
His worth decided by fate’s design.
فَاِستَقَرَّتthus stood firm قَواعِدُfoundations الدينِreligion وَالمُلand kingship (word continues)
فَاِستَقَرَّت قَواعِدُ الدينِ وَالمُل
كِcompletion of 'kingship' بِدارَينِin two abodes مِنبَرٍa pulpit وَسَريرِand a throne
كِ بِدارَينِ مِنبَرٍ وَسَريرِ
Thus the foundations of religion and kingship stood firm
Under him faith and kingdom aligned,
In two abodes: a pulpit and a throne.
With pulpit and throne for his shrine.
